Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and mother of a Russian mother. She choreographed an 11-year old dance that resulted in a German TV appearance as an Russian Snow Maiden. She transforms into a playful Indian Dancer. After high school, she graduated and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English at the University of New York. While in New York, she was studying acting at the HB Studio. Later on she moved to Groundlings School and took up several tasks. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. Her father moved her to New York when she was thirteen years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television performance. The actress was a regular character on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
